The HARVESTING HOPE FESTIVAL is the name for an “empty bowls” event sponsored by the Trilogy Service Club. This year’s festival will benefit the 5Cities Homeless Coalition and the Nipomo Food Bas-ket, and will showcase local food, wine and art. Local artists are invited to participate in this festival which will be held in the Trilogy, Monarch Club Sculpture Garden. The Sculpture Garden is an outdoor venue. The festival will be held RAIN OR SHINE.

DISPLAY SPACE AND TERMS:
Artists whose work is selected by the Trilogy Service Club, will have a 10-foot x 10-foot located in the Trilogy, Monarch Club Sculpture Garden. Each artist must provide their own equipment (tent, umbrella, display racks, tables, chairs, etc.) to showcase their art. No electrical connections are available. All artists are required to collect the standard California state sales tax on all items sold. Participants must be open for business from 11 am until 4 pm on Sunday, October 26th. Removal of all unsold work and display equipment must be completed by 5:00 p.m. If you require more space, please call or email us to discuss your needs. COST:
There is NO application fee for this festival; however there is a tax-deductible booth fee of $50 for a 10x10 booth space. Checks must be made payable to 5Cities Homeless Coalition. This is your only cost to participate!! Your check is the ONLY guarantee of your space!! Should your application be rejected for any reason (lack of space, too many artists in the same media, etc.), your check will be returned ASAP.

MEDIA:
We are interested in applications by local artists for the following media: ceramics, drawing & pastels, fiber, glass, graphics & print making, jewelry, metalwork, oil/acrylic/watercolor painting, photography & digital art, sculpture, wood and mixed media 2D & 3D. To ensure successful sales at the festival (based on last year’s event), artists should include in their inventory several items priced in the $20 - $50 range.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Along with your application and check, please email images or provide a website address or enclose a disk or photos of your work and display booth. Selections will be based on artistic excellence and on providing a well-balanced show across the different artistic disciplines. In addition, selections will be based on a “first come, first serve” basis so submit your application early!
